GGCHC North Carolina Summit Meeting

THE 10 AM NC SUMMIT MEETING HAS BEEN POSTPONED UNTIL APRIL 18TH! Join our Gullah Geechee Cultural Heritage Corridor (GGCHC) North Carolina commissioners on Saturday, March 7th at the North Carolina Rice Festival main event, where they will convene an information-sharing session to describe their work and interactions with North Carolina's Gullah Geechee communities .

FROM 1PM TO 4PM, MARCH 6TH, THE REAVES CHAPEL WILL BE OPEN TO THE PUBLIC FOR TOURING. NO RSVP NECESSARY. Recently restored, the Reaves Chapel building, once a hub of the area’s traditional Gullah Geechee communities, stands renewed as a testament to those communities' resiience, courtesy of the Coastal Land Trust and the Cedar Hill/West Branch Heritage Foundation. All are welcome to visit during this pre-Festival event.
