For those “few and new” who haven’t yet heard about or attended previous years’ North Carolina Rice Festival events or who are unfamiliar with the significant role rice—or Carolina Gold—played in Brunswick County’s agricultural history and continues to play in its cultural landscape. Two outstanding video-documentaries locally produced by the Festival organizers will be screened.
